QUECHUA products undergo rigorous tests at our design centre at the foot of Mont-Blanc, before being tested in the field in real conditions.
Lab testing
Among other things, we test the abrasion resistance of a backpack, the strength of the seams, and resistance to washing. This ensures our fleeces are of high quality, making them suitable for trekking and other outdoor sports.
Field tests in the mountains
Our teams, along with a panel of testers (made up of partners, ambassadors and customers) put our clothing through its paces in the mountains, to ensure it stands up to the conditions you’ll encounter during your treks.
All our products are tested throughout their development until they go to market.
Decathlon Sportslab
Our Decathlon Sportslab, based in Lille, also contributes to the innovation, development and testing of our products, to ensure quality and resisance to wear.
We advise you to store it in a dry light-free place, and to avoid chemicals, such as bleach, which could have a negative impact on its thermal insulation.

Do not iron.
Bleaching excluded.
It is calculated by modelling the life cycle of the product following the recommendations of the PEF methodology (Product Environmental Footprint). This carbon footprint is an estimate. It may therefore be slightly overvalued or undervalued. Learn more
Using recycled polyester rather than conventional polyester reduces the CO2 emissions linked to the material by at least 16%.
